Premise 2: But fashion must showcase new trends;
Conslusion: therefore, fashion designers must not waste their time on traditional designs.
Question: Which of the following is an assumption that supports drawing the conclusion above from the reason given for that conclusion?
In order to find the assumption, we need to either find the missing gap in the reasoning (supporter assumption) or eliminate the ideas or assertions that would undermine the conclusion (defender aassumption).
a. Some fashion designers only win critical acclaim, but their designs never come to market.
-----[Incorrect]: The argument is not concerned about how the market would react to the designs.
b. Some fashion designers produce works more traditional than those by others.
