x=y/3

y = 3x

w = 2x

v = 2w = 2*2x=4x.

3x + 2x + x + 4x = 180

x = 18.

we are looking for the value of y.

y = 3x = 3*18=54.

D is the correct answer.

x=y/3
w=2y/3
v=4y/3

therefore, y+x+w+v is y+y/3+2y/3+4y/3
10y/3=180
10y=540

y=54

x=y/3

y = 3x

w = 2x

v = 2w = 2*2x=4x.

3x + 2x + 4x = 180

x = 20.

we are looking for the value of y.

y = 3x = 3*20=60.

E is the correct answer.

Hi selim

The highlighted is incorrect. You forget the fourth angle 'x' itslef. It must be:

3x + 2x + 4x + x= 180........x =18

y =54

v+w+x+y= 180

solve for y
y= 54 IMO D

2w+w+4y/3 = 180
2y+4y/3= 180
y = 54
