St 1: y = 50. no idea about the property of the quadrilateral. hence x cannot be determined. INSUFFICIENT

St 2: since it is a parallelogram, x = 180-y. two variable, one equation. INSUFFICIENT

St 1 & St 2: two variable, two equation. SUFFICIENT
