A =2z
B=z and C =z
So BAC is a right angle triangle with B=C
I.e.
AB=AC =1

HENCE THE AREA IS (1/2) ABxAC = 1/2

y =z.............as per the question


2y + y + y = 180

y = 45.

Important properties:


y = 45

y = 45

2y = 90

90 - 45 -45 structured triangle. AB = AC. BC is basically hypotenuse. AB and AC are height and base. AB = 1, so, AC=1.


Area = 1/2*1*1 = 1/2.


The best answer is E.
