In the terminating decimal equivalent of d, what is the number of nonzero digits to the right of the decimal point?

(1) d = 5 + 416/1,000
(2) The terminating decimal equivalent of d has one nonzero digit to the left of the decimal point.

1) d = 5 + 416/1,000 = 5.416 Sufficeint

2) The terminating decimal equivalent of d has one nonzero digit to the left of the decimal point. Here it give you the info only about the digits on left side but not on right side. Insufficeint,

1) d= 5.416 Sufficient
2) not sufficient as we need number of digits on the right side of the decimal not left

Statement 1 is clearly sufficient
Statement 2 doesn't tell us the number of digits on right of decimal point but rather tells the number of digits on left of decimal point, so insufficient
