Asked: If points (1, a) and (b, 2) are on the line l, what is the value of a/b?
Equation of the line l passing through the origin and having a slope 3: -
y = 3x
Sine (1,a) and (b,2) are on the line l: -
a = 3
2 = 3b
b = 2/3
a/b = 3*3/2 = 9/2
