y = (x+a)(x+b) 0r y = x^2 b+(a+b)x+ab

using stmt 1 :
a+b = -1 . insufficient need value of ab.

using stmt 2: we can find ab.Still insufficient need value of a+b

combining yes put y =0 since you need the x cordinates sub value of a+b and ab and solve.
