In triangle ABC, AB = AC = 5 and BC = 8.
the area of the triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
where s = a+b+c/2
and A,B and C are three sides
s = 5+5+8/2 => 9
√9(9-5)(9-5)(9-8)
√9*4*4*1
3*2*2 = 12
Answer is B
