I appreciate the optimism!! There were guys/girls who even received the email just before the closing hours of the deadline last year! But those will be very very few!!!

Have all the people who have received invites gotten a call before the email ?? I was waitlisted last year (after interviewing) and received a from my co-ordinator before she sent me the interview invitation email !!

No, I have only communicated via email with my coordinator a few times this week, but never received a call (unless my phone was off and I missed it).

How are those invited to interview doing with lining up interviews? I got into a bit of a panic as the information provided by AdCom was somewhat outdated, but thanks to LinkedIn and some creative thinking I managed to get in touch with the two alumni. I have one interview lined up for end of next week and another one for the first week of June.

guys!!!!!

I got an interview invite!!!!! I missed one call from some international number this noon and was dropping a mail to my coordinator, enquiring if she was the one who called and bhooommm I get THE mail!!!! I am travelling back home for a short trip and the timing could not have been any better!

A brief about my profile: indian male, Engg Masters, Working in Dubai for 4 yrs-sales-oil and gas, gmat 690.


For all the others who are still waiting, dont loose hope. There are still a couple of more days to keep faith! One of my friend who has applied to INSEAD in R1 has got the ding mail this noon. So, if you still have not got the ding mail, You are in the race! Good Luck!!!!!

Received an e-mail this morning saying they liked my application, but that my GMAT score wasn't high enough to meet INSEAD's academic standards. Hence I've been offered the opportunity to re-write my GMAT and submit the new score to INSEAD for further consideration. Anyone else in the same situation?

My score was very heavily skewed towards verbal, and quite low on the quant side. I'm concerned about the new GMAT format and also about when to re-submit. I still want to be considered for Jan 2013 intake, which means I need to re-submit my new score by either June 20 or Aug 16. Sigh. Doesn't leave much time to prepare, esp. given the new format - and I want to be able to boost my score enough to receive an invitation to interview. Regardless, this is definitely better than a rejection (INSEAD said it should be seen as encouraging news).
