I recently appeared for my gmat and got a score of 700. INSEAD is one of the schools i have shortlisted and i have a query regarding the application, particularly in the recommendations section. Is it necessary to send in recommendation letters from people we are working with? or can they be from our ex- professors too? And also, how much does the level/designation of that person matter?
1) Yes recommendation letters from co workers are highly important. INSEAD values your work experience so getting a recommendation from seniors a your work place is definitely useful in making a strong case for your application.
2) you can give from ex professors as an additional one but i would definitely recommend having one/ two from really senior guys at your work place. 3)Regarding the level designation - the work experience of people at insead is on the higher side so you can expect everyone would have recommendations from pretty senior people. I would say the designation / seniority definitely matters as long as they give you a genuine and good feedback
