Just wanted to know if the admits want to take up a joint Pre Reading Study.

Its too boring otherwise. My suggestion is that all of us admits can use gotomeeting or another online tool to discuss the pre readings and perhaps help each other in the process. So if some admit has an accounting background or has read a certain pre reading text and wants to volunteer , the others can use this time to learn and ask questions.

The same can be done for the other courses. If we can find a way to work across geographies , we can use time to get ready for the program and more importantly build relationships with each other before the program.

Does anyone wish to participate in this initiative or is this a wishful idea?

agreed, frnd, count me in.

I am interested too. How do we proceed?

Absolutely no idea……

Thanks a lot for your response. I've created a new topic group to discuss this on a seperately, and I think lets carry this discussion on a seperate forum .

Hi guys,
First time posting on the insead jan 2011 thread. I'm a R3 applicant. Haven't received an interview notification yet. Sounds to me like only a couple of R3 applicants have heard so far (both Singapore residents incidentally)...So has anyone else received an invite or are we all waiting for tmrw?

Also how do i get access to the hankscorpio excel file that everyones talking about?

My profile:

Just got my interview invite from CT. I thought they were taking so long to respond that they were going to eliminate me. But it looks like they just wait till the last moment to respond. So everyone else waiting for an interview... hang in there.

BTW - they seem to use the same terminology of pre-selected for everyone. How could they pre-select me 1 day before the deadline?

Profile:

Good luck to all the other R3 interviewers out there. Please share your interview experience when done.

Cheers

Tomorrow, you'll have the decision, so you just need to wait a little bit. Also, as per the previous postings (from R1 and R2 applicants), it's very possible to receive an invitation at the very last minute. Let's keep our fingers crossed, and best luck.

Yup, hang in there mate. You have the profile for it and INSEAD's taking it to the wire. So cross your fingers and toes and wait it out one more day. You're almost there.

Received a ding email last night :(
Thought I would at least post the result to balance out all the accepts. I applied in R3, and I guess I need improvement in a couple of key areas. Unfortunately the INSEAD rejection letter did not state any specific reasons why my application was not good enough. I'm guessing it's a standard template? If you don't meet one of the basic qualifications would INSEAD let you know? e.g Your GMAT score is far too low, your GPA is far too low or your second language certification is not valid.

M/32/680/10 yrs WE in engineering field, but only 2yrs auditing/consulting role.

Congrats to all those who've received invites! But as usual life has to be painful for me so I still haven't heard a thing.

Anyone with an invite under coordinator Isabelle Ramos? just wondering.

Hi, anyone got the admission but still thinking to apply US bschools, round one? if yes, how to deal with the time lag between the second payment (i.e. 60% tuition fee) due date, say, by end of Nov, and the admission result dates by US schools, say, mid or late Dec? Anyone did that before?

Hi guys, stupid question. I'm trying to send personal messages to 1 or 2 users on this blog but the messages are in outbox and not in the sent box.

How do I make sure my messages get to the recipients? Perhaps advanced users or moderators can guide me. Thanks!
