well technically not a ding... they mentioned that if i give my GMAT before the last date of this intake, then i will be considered....

as i undetrstand, this rarely happen but i guess its a good sign rather tthan an outright ding..... back to the books.

break up M: 50 V: 31 ..... they require as far as i understand,75th percentile in both .....

Congrats to those who got intervies, and good luck to the rest of us - not too long a wait now!

Baracuda - i think thats a really interesting response. Reckon that mean they must really like your profile, as GMAT is a criteria to reject someone...if they have asked you to retake the GMAT and then apply again then its definitely a positive in my book - good luck! Does that mean you re-apply in R2 or R3 instead of R1 now?

Well my personal opinion is that you should start reviewing the GMAT material and give it your best ASAP!

I don't think they would bother giving you this advice if they don't really intend on giving you another shot. I do think this is a rare opportunity. If I were you, I would cease it and do my best not to miss it!

Actually out of curiousity does anyone know how co-ordinators are assigned? By Geography or Nationality or current career field etc?

Hdim, javiyes - hopefully AM B is just a late replying co-ordinator seeing as no one else here has heard from her...

ill give them a call tonight and get some clarity on the timelines... not sure if i have to submit my score before the cutoff for a particular round or would it be acceptable before the final deadline of that particular round....

i probably need a couple of weeks of solid verbal prep....

arggh... the pain of standardized tests!

From what I understand, it's by region, but I'm not 100% sure.

Actually, I think the delay is very normal. Again, if you look at threads from prior periods, the bulk of the invites seem to go out during the last 2 days.

Barracuda : That's a reply one doesn't hear unless Adcom likes you candidature , you just need to scale up your verbal to 35-38 . I am in Singapore , let me know if I can offer any help.

From what I understand , the invites are sent per region/geography you are applying from.
For all the Indian candidates applying from India - bulk invites have historically been sent out on last two days [ Again , an inference from previous threads ]..

I got the preselection for interviews from Carol T last night!

Once a person is invited to interview what are the odds the person is accepted?

To everyone who hasn't got the preselection yet...keep the faith. From reading past threads the bulk go out in the last 2 days.

hi all,

got the interview invite.....

some strange things this time, as compared to my last interview invite
1. Anne N. called me on my mobile and not an invite mail (mail is the usual practice for interviews) - I was informed that this call will be followed by a mail
2. Hanny S. was the one who mailed me application complete mail but I received the call from Anne N. - not sure why this change in admissions coordinator

Just got a call from Stefanie Hanny saying ive been selected for an interview :-D

!!! ..... was getting worried there for a while.

Said that she'll get back to me with the confirmation email and follow up next week with an email with the names of my interviewers !!!!

Best of luck to the rest of you'll. I know its a nerve wracking wait - but hang in there. Only a day more to go !!
