Calm down people!

Just read the September thread and start reading two weeks before each interview deadline.

You will see that some people do indeed receive their invites starting 2 weeks before the final deadline.

People in those those threads ask the same questions and have the same fears you guy have.

The bulk of people start getting the invites in the last 3 days leading to the deadline. In our case, this should be starting May 11th.

So stop being scared and stop scaring others (r2hopeful change your name).

I just received a notification that I was pre-selected for interview as well.

Do you guys know how long it usually takes to actually set the date ?

Good luck to all of you guys :)

hdim is absolutely right. Check out the Sept 2011 Intake thread so that you don't freak out so much. ;-) Additionally, there are even reviews of their interviews and lists of questions.

Just received invitation today! US, Cali resident here. Looks like it's a slow stream of invites before a big rush next week.

I am curious what is the success rate of those invited to interviews. I heard it is 50% chance, it is true?

I'm in the same boat. Received my application complete notification early from carol t and haven't heard anything since then. I'm located on the east coast U.S.

I did receive this email too; but it's just like a newsletter: you'll get it as long as your entered your email in their system somewhere.

yes, i did receive it. the only difference from the newsletter is that it addresses me with the "preferred" nickname I had in my application and not with my full name.

Just curious. What are your GMAT scores? Is anyone yet to apply (test GMAT) before applying for round 2? I'm planning to apply for Round 2 and my GMAT is in 2 weeks.

Many of us indicate our GMAT and background in our profile or previous posts. So, browse through the postings, starting from page 1. I'm sure you've heard this many time... but don't get too hung up on the GMAT score. I think it's about presenting a wholesome package. Someone told me that most top 15 b-schools reject 10-40 applicants with GMAT >750. What I'm trying to tell you is that your score won't make or break your chance. I hope that helps. Best of luck to you, boss.

30/American/750 GMAT and 6.0 written/3.6 out of 4.0 GPA/6 years in IB and 3 years in hedge fund/undergrad in something fun but useless/Masters in something not so fun and yet still useless, both from unjustifiably expensive top undergrad and grad schools
