On August 20 there was 385 people registered on MBAConnect, and on Sept 22 there was already 426 (just read it on the Waitlist thread). So, the AdCom keeps making it tighter and tighter for us to get admitted - about 85 places to go.
On the other hand, it may be a result of lower-than-average competition, which made them decide that they can afford to admit 50+ from the waitlist.
Hey merryweather. I'm a R1 admit. Indian with business in UK and Kazakhstan!

Hi everyone,
I've read through this forum and pulled a list of all R3 applicants (some may be waitlisted R1/R2s, but they are waiting too). Here's the list (in order of appearance): 1. frafrubrabru 2. JZ1728 3. RRK (India) 4. johndoe84 (Germany) 5. Sirotkina (Russia) 6. one541 (Hong Kong / Indian) 7. sslondon (UK) 8. 2150 (Portugal) 9. ApplicantMba2015 10. DDD2015 11. tran13 12. walterspy (Belgium / Chinese) 13. lafbcn 14. yorufus (India) 15. htetzz (Kazakhstan) 16. ukhanna (UK?) 17. karrikashyap 18. sj2015 19. MatricMC (Singapore) 20. merryweather (Russia) 21. cometrue 22. jalanjalan 23. Mark84 24. lvl33 (Singapore)
I've added all who stated they are R3 applicants as well as those who asked questions about stats on admitted people on MBAConnect (presumably, they were not admitted, otherwise why asking). Also, I don't know whether all of these people were pre-selected for interview or dinged at the first stage.
I think I did it mainly for myself - to have an idea of how many we are, and track who's been admitted when they time comes
I got a call from VM in the late afternoon. I'm admitted to Fontainebleau. She was very nice on the phone! I'm from Israel and have a dual nationality (Israeli/Polish). I have been working in the media for a decade, mainly covering international politics and the global economy / bussiness. I'm currently in London. Did my undergraduate studies here (international politics) in a pretty good London university and managed to squeeze a 1:1 degree (roughly equivalent to GPA 4.0). My GMAT is 650.
