Just had my first interview yesterday. I am located in Canada.
Thought I'd share the questions asked. The interviewer had a stack of questions from INSEAD but she didn't want to go through all of them - she mentioned she doesn't want to ask too much of the things I've already talked about in the application essays. I believe a lot of the questions she ended up asking are just out of her curiosity just like a normal conversation.
The entire experience turned out to be very conversational and relaxed. The interview went very well and she said she would definitely recommend me. So hopefully the second one next week will go decently as well! *fingers crossed*
- Talked a bit about my work
- My experience of moving to a difference country on my own as a teenager
- Challenges at work
- A difficult situation / conflict at work
- How did I know how to resolve that particular conflict that way
- What do I want to do post MBA / INSEAD
- Why INSEAD
- What's my definition of success (now or future)
- Where do I want to work after (geography)
- My upcoming volunteering trip (only because I brought it up, it wasn't in my application)
That being said, I just got notified INSEAD round 2 scholarship application is due on Tuesday - which gives me little time to do much research as I am still preparing for the second interview along with a crazy work schedule.
Does anyone have any tips, or have a consolidated list of gmatclub posts from the past on scholarship application essays? Thanks in advance!
