Hello All,

Need some advice. My referencees are saying they have not received any link for writing their recommendation. I have resent it twice and tried changing the e-mail ID also. Deadline is on 17th so kinda urgent.

delete all your previous saving of your references info > save > retype your references info > save =>when system perceives a change, it will automatically send an email to designated email address

I did it that way. Hope it helps.

Yap!

maybe u can try this way...let say ur reference email is [email protected], but you want him to receive a new mail from school. You can chance his email to [email protected] (remember save it, even its a wrong one), then you change back to [email protected] (the right one). He will receive that email cuz system perceive changes.

Hi all,

I had my first interview last Thursday and will have the second interview this Wednesday. The first one went very well and I am hopeful the second one will go as smoothly. We will see.

I have a question regarding the campus choice:

Currently I've indicated Fonty as the starting campus. However, I think for me it might make more sense to start in Singapore and then switch to Fonty starting P3 for the remainder of the program.

Hence my questions:
1. Is it possible to switch campus choice during the admissions process? I have not yet been admitted.
2. I know that there is some sort of bidding process to switch campuses. I need to avoid a situation where I start in Singapore and then would be unable to switch in P3. What is the risk that this might happen? I don't want to be "stuck" with Singapore (I'm sure it would be great too but for personal reasons I want to spend the P3/4/5 in Fonty).

Any advice?
Thank you!

I had a very similar personal problem as well. So I asked the Admissions officer to change my starting campus and she did! So I guess it can be done after applications

Just had my first interview yesterday. I am located in Canada.

Thought I'd share the questions asked. The interviewer had a stack of questions from INSEAD but she didn't want to go through all of them - she mentioned she doesn't want to ask too much of the things I've already talked about in the application essays. I believe a lot of the questions she ended up asking are just out of her curiosity just like a normal conversation.

The entire experience turned out to be very conversational and relaxed. The interview went very well and she said she would definitely recommend me. So hopefully the second one next week will go decently as well! *fingers crossed*

- Talked a bit about my work
- My experience of moving to a difference country on my own as a teenager
- Challenges at work
- A difficult situation / conflict at work
- How did I know how to resolve that particular conflict that way
- What do I want to do post MBA / INSEAD
- Why INSEAD
- What's my definition of success (now or future)
- Where do I want to work after (geography)
- My upcoming volunteering trip (only because I brought it up, it wasn't in my application)

That being said, I just got notified INSEAD round 2 scholarship application is due on Tuesday - which gives me little time to do much research as I am still preparing for the second interview along with a crazy work schedule.

Does anyone have any tips, or have a consolidated list of gmatclub posts from the past on scholarship application essays?

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know from when on we may expect decisions to be made and applicants will be notified?

Could it happen any time from now or will they call on July 3rd (deadline)?

Just completed my interviews and now let the three weeks long wait begins! I am going to do my part sharing some debrief as followed. I am not going to repeat all the standard questions asked but the key highlights. Both of them are of commercial/sales/marketing background which is what I am doing in my current job. They are between the age of 35-40 and there was no good/bad cop feeling in the interviews.

First interview
A non-local alumni who I could click instantly about the living experiences in this country. It was in a coffee shop like the photo below with comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Throughout the session, he asked questions according to the INSEAD interview sheet but always happy to answer any questions that I had. One particular thing that he asked which I think it's not in the interview sheet was "how do you see yourself in a classroom discussion where american and english students could be more dominating/outspoken?". He attended to INSEAD when he was 35 so I asked for his advise towards younger INSEAD-ers and I am glad I did ask as he gave a new perspective about INSEAD MBA. He also shared his experience studying in both Fonty and Singy.

Second interview
This alumni attended to INSEAD when she was 25 and the interview took place in her office. Though it's in office-setting, the interview was pretty casual. I was curious as she didn't have the INSEAD interview sheet with her throughout the session and when I asked, she indicated that she has been doing INSEAD interview for years and thus memorised the questions by hard. This again show the commitment of INSEAD alumni in contributing back to the school. One special thing she questioned was my commitment to attend to INSEAD MBA. After all the commitment and effort put into the application/essays, I tried to demonstrate my passion to complete INSEAD MBA next year and all that I would do to overcome the funding challenge.

Good luck everyone! Should you would like to know more, feel free to drop me a PM.

Guys my recommenders are facing issue in uploading the reference letter. The link given in the e-mail
Is broken and leads to the application page itself. Any advise how to get around this. The deadline is in 3 days. Is there any generic link where the recommendation can be sent?

I personally didn't experience this. Understood your frustration while there are only 3 days left.

Try to scroll through the thread and see if anyone faced the same.

Otherwise, get in touch with AO/technical support of INSEAD application asap to outline the problem. I will also get my recommender to email the signed recommendation PDF directly to my AO beforehand.

Good luck.
