Hello everyone,

I'm an admissions interviewer for INSEAD and, as such, the school shared with us the new class profile for the 18D class.

I thought this information would be very helpful for all the applicants.

I have also included the class profile for the 18J class, so that we can compare both.

Class Profile MBA’18D

    * 536 students (311 in FBL and 225 in SGP)
    * 74 nationalities
    * 33% women
    * Average Age: 29 (80% ranging from 26 to 32)
    * Average years of work experience: 5.6 years (80% ranging from 3 to 8)
    * Average GMAT score: 706 (80% scored between 670 and 740)
    * Largest national groups: Indian, American, Chinese, Spanish, Brazilian, Canadian
    * Top 5 native languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, French

Class Profile MBA’18J

    * 505 students (305 in FBL and 200 in SGP)
    * 74 nationalities
    * 34 % women
    * Average Age: 29 (80% ranging from 24 to 36)
    * Average years of work experience: 6 years (80% ranging from 3 to 8)
    * Average GMAT score: 712 (highest average GMAT score ever at INSEAD)
    * Largest national groups: Indian, American, French, Chinese, Canadian
    * Top 5 native languages: English, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish

Both classes are very similar. Main changes in the 18D class with respect to the 18J class are:

    * Average GMAT score has gone down slightly (712 vs. 706)
    * Average age is still 29 but range is narrower (26 to 32 vs. 24 to 36)
    * Spanish and Brazilian join the list of largest national groups

I hope this information is helpful.

Good luck to everyone!

Best regards
Alex
