just to confirm...do they only send emails? Do they call any of the candidates?

And everybody who gets "ding'd" will also get an email right?

ding for me too (France at 11 am but I don't think that matters).

Got pre-selected and dinged three years ago. Now I am dinged directly ! I should have kept my previous crappy essays I guess (and changed sex).

My 2 cent opinion for future applicants:
- don't worry if your GMAT score is in the range (and both section >75%), not need to have a top score (mine was 770)
- it is almost impossible to get in if you never lived or worked abroad (unless you came from a very rare country).

for those that are using gmail - you may want to check your spam email folder for insead emails. when i forwarded my interview email to one of the alumni's to schedule an interview, it took an extra week for me to reach him because my emails were in his spam.
