mertvye, I received an email that my application was complete and under review. I have checked all spam folders as well, but I am sure I haven't received any answer on my application from INSEAD. I am also finding this quite surprising.

This may sound very stupid, but can any of the round 1 admits let me know where can I find the INSEAD bank account details to which I should transfer the 5k deposit due this Friday! I know that I should be asking them rather than putting up here, but thought just in case i am missing the obvious! Many thanks.

The bank details are on MBA Connect, under 'securing your place'. You have to send a confirmation form (template on the portal) to INSEAD along with evidence of the transfer.

ok so I sent an e-mail to my interviewers on Friday morning - and I've heard back from one (interview is on Monday morning at her office), but not the other. How long shall I leave it before I try to contact him again? I only received an e-mail address so I can't call him up.

Any thoughts?

I would give them a week or so maybe try emailing Thursday again (or maybe you can get number from adm. coordinator and call) and if no response by next Wed or so contact your admissions coordinator. Make sure the email subject is something obvious like INSEAD admissions interview etc.

Does anyone know how the scholarship deadlines work for us R2 applicants? The deadline for all scholarships seems to be February 11th, but it's unlikely many of us would have heard the final decision by then? Has anyone found out how we should tackle this?

How were you informed about the scholarship app process? They didn't say anything about that in the preselect e-mail.

No but you can find the information on the website.

You should go to the INSEAD website and register yourself under the scholarship page even if you are R2. Registrations opened yesterday.

INSEAD scholarships are either merit or need based and in some cases both merit and need are valued. To acquaint yourself with the scholarships available please visit our scholarship section of this site. Details on how to register and when to apply on-line are provided in the Scholarship Guide.

Scholarship applications for the Class of July 2012 are as follows:

Applications open for the Rounds 1 and 2: 18 January 2011
Deadline for the Rounds 1 and 2: 11 February

Applications open for the Round 3: 18 April 2011
Deadline for the Round 3: 6 May

Only on-line applications are accepted and we are not able to process any late applications. Scholarship decisions will be communicated at the end of March/early April for the first two Rounds and at the end of May/ early June for the Round 3.

Ok so it seems that we will in any case need to send our scholarship applications before we hear about the final decision, which is a bit contradictory to insead also saying that R2's should seek to apply after they've heard the decision. Hope I will not create any bad karma by applying before the fat lady sings..
