So how many spots are left in Singy and Fonty for Sept?

About 20 in Fonty, and 35 at Singy.

What you mean spot left/ You mean spot they have to fill? What do you know those numbers? Seems really small to me.

This may seem like a really silly question but since i was late to join this group ill ask it anyway. How are we coming to these numbers ? Is it based only on the acceptances and applications on THIS group ? if you can explain. Thanks !

Historically, INSEAD has enrolled in each class roughly 300 in Fonty and 200 in Singy. Now, all admitted candidates have access to the intranet where you can check who has been admitted. So far there are 281 accepted to Fonty and 166 to Singy. These numbers have been changing over the last weeks which I guess is due to people confirming their place (or not) by paying a deposit.

Now, it is true that in recent batches there were enrolled about 550, rather than 500, probably due to a higher yield. If that were true again, and the 60/40 split is respected, it would mean there would be 50 places for Fonty and 55 for Singy (rather than 20/35 as I wrote earlier) but given the overcrowding complaints I have read everywhere, I am not sure this trend will continue.

Thanks Ducksworth. That's a fairly comprehensive answer!

I have not heard from them but I have been listening to a bit of AC/DC to ease the pain of the wait!!

Sorry, we all need a bit of humour during this anxious period!

Good luck everyone. I know how stressful the last few days are, but it gets worse. Just wait until the day of the decisions come out. You'll be glued to your phones.

Two more painful weeks... At least I am getting in better shape trying to run the anxiety out of my system in my morning runs:)

Actually I have been in the Jan'14 Thread like us people have been given invitation for interview two to three weeks ago, Since yesterday some of them are getting ding emails some with the possibility to reapply with a better GMAT. I think we should be next! Be aware that Monday is a holiday in France.

this is in addition to an official 36 hour work week. obviously prospective mba graduates should not expect to work that few hours

It's 35 hours! In france Managers and engineers are suppose not to count their hours but they have 2 additional WEEKS of vacation in addition to the "normal" 5 weeks every one have.

We believe in efficiency not on time worked.
