got an invite to interview.. they seem to like cutting it really close

however no interview date or interviewer has been assigned. is this normal?

what do you guys reckon is the conversion rate from invite to admit for insead? i heard on the grapevine that it is rather high (>75%) but just wanted to check if that is indeed the case

Please contact the two interviewers to arrange each meeting at mutually convenient times, preferably by early December and inform us of your interview dates. Prior to each interview, we ask you to please provide your interviewers with a copy of the profile section from your online PDF application. You can access the profile section by clicking on the following link and following the step-by-step instructions:. Upon receipt of your interview reports, your file will be presented to the MBA Admissions Committee. I am a Sep'13 applicant. However, I may be able to submit my application only at the last moment of the deadline. I am still in my essay editing stage! Have heard that you should apply either in R1 or atleast 2 weeks before R2 deadline. Any suggestions/clarifications on the same?

As per my research, the proportion of admitted to applied is the same for R1 and R2. I haven't heard of applying 2 weeks before R2 deadline thing - I would not think it to be that way, as INSEAD doesn't have a rolling admission process, hence all applications before R2 should be treated in an similar manner (immaterial of the date of submission).

Having said that, my views are totally based on my research and hence please do not take my word for it.

Thanks for the instant response! Do you know if all the interview calls posted above are of R1 or R2 applicants? I guess that would pretty much give us an answer.
