Hi everyone...

Just got off the waitlist as well but I have a dillemma.. Actually, I can not stop thinking about this!! I got accepted to ESADE two months ago and already paid a deposit non refundable and got a scholarship there.

What do you think I should do? It is some money difference between the two schools but INSEAD was always my first option and I have to get back to them on monday with my decision.

Do you think that the difference between the schools is worth this money? Everyone with an opinion regarding this please help me.

Hi everyone...

Just got off the waitlist as well but I have a dillemma.. Actually, I can not stop thinking about this!! I got accepted to ESADE two months ago and already paid 13.000€ deposit non refundable and got a scholarship 0f 10.000€ there.

I Would Definitely Go for Esade If I Were You... Schools Are very Much Similar In Reputation And Career Opportunities.. 23.000 Is A Huge Sum Of Money..especially In These uncertain Economic Times, Every Grain Of Asset Is important.. I Would definitely Take Esade At This Point..

Is anyone on the waitlist still waiting for the final decision.

Although I feel there are no hopes left at this stage, just wanted to understand whether there is no response because adcom are enjoying their vacation or whether they are waiting for something else to send the final mails?

Just realized - they might want to take their time after the holidays to determine who would be told that they were worth being on the waitlist but not good enough for the future, or those who would be asked to reapply..

I think they've just forgot to send out the final mails. Otherwise why on earth would they wait so long. What are your back up options. I am headed to Oxford.

Hi Guys,

INSEAD just replied to my email stating

"First of all I would like to sincerely apologise for not yet being able to confirm your final status on the waitlist. Please understand that there are many applicants on the waitlist of very different quality. Be assured that we will get back to you very shortly with the committee’s final recommendations, once we have studied all waitlisted applications in detail."

I don't know what to think of this. I thought most of the admitted students would already be at their respective campuses...
Anyone else got a similar reply from them, or rather has anyone else not got a ding email from them as yet?

My interaction with another waitlisted candidate (fafelu - he is a part of this forum as well) tells me that INSEAD is considering to offer seats in the class starting January 2014. So may be they have withheld our status to consider us for this option. Fingers crossed !!!
