Missed a call from a private number last night, then got an email almost immediately.... Offered a position at Fonty from JS!!

Australian/Male/Engineering/5yrs exp/770 gmat. I did not send in additional material to INSEAD during the waitlist period.

I have a strange question here. What do you guys think about asking my INSEAD interviewer to send in a recommendation to INSEAD? We really connected and I know he will not hesitate to do it. Is it going to be an overkill/tacky? Any idea what the Adcom might think about that?

Wouldn't your interviewer have submitted whatever he had to say about you already to the adcomm and wouldn't the adcomm already taken that into account? Do you feel there will be something additional that your interviewer will add now?My suggestion: why don't you discuss this frankly with your interviewer. If you really connected well and I am sure he/she is senior and mature enough, then your interviewer will guide you correctly

I understand the number on MBA connect has gone upto 425 now....its quite high it seems.

How many people here are still waiting from Round 1? I am a round 1 waitlist candidate and I now seem to be losing my patience and hope!

Hang in there... you will be fine. Many of us are on the waitlist. If INSEAD doesn't like you, they would have released you/cancelled your application.

congratulations to all the admits!!

i'm a round1 WLister

Indian/F/Engineering with finance and consulting background/ 4.5 yrs/740 GMAT

I haven't applied anywhere else and i must admit the wait has been nerve wracking for me ..
Does anyone know the deposit deadline for the round 2 admits?

Also, does it make sense for me to send in any additional recommendations?
