Hi Leen,

We have a FREE Quickstart intro session with a GMAT Performance Coach that runs you through all the elements of the GMAT and, more importantly, how the GMAT tests you. (no selling. no obligation. just incredible insights.)

If you want to have a good shot with a (much shorter than average) 1 month timeline you need to have a complete understanding of the exact challenge of the 3 GMAT sections and your current key gaps.

The key is going to be very focused prep that has the highest impact on your score potential -- and you need to balance concept study with building GMAT specific test taking skills.

Let me know if you want to take advantage of the free session to turbo charge your prep.

Thanks a lot for your response, yes I would love to have this session. How may I connect with you?

So glad it helped ! About your question — here’s the most efficient way to get your basics right:

Step 1: Take a Diagnostic Test
Before anything else, take a free GMAT Focus mock to understand your current level.
  • Go to GMAT Club Tests – they offer 2 free mocks, and they're among the most accurate compared to the real exam.
just see where you’re strong/weak in:
  • Quant
  • Verbal
  • Data Insights
Step 2 : Analyse your weak areas
This helps you focus only on the areas that matter for you.
Step 3: Start Building Your Basics (All Free)
GMAT Ninja YouTube – Quant playlist, Reading Comprehension Playlist , Critical Reasoning Playlist and Data Insights Playlist is very helpful.
[*]Stick to one topic at a time
[*]Start with videos → do 5–10 practice questions → review mistakes.
[*]Use the OG GMAT Guides (2024 - 2026/2025 -2026 editions) — they have the most relevant official questions
[*]Use GMAT Club’s question bank (filter by topic & difficulty)
[*]Make sure you try to complete each question within the given time — mastering time management is one of the most important parts of GMAT success. It’s not just about solving correctly, but solving quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Hope this helps ! All the best with your prep — you’ve got this!

Hi undevelit,

Although I cannot give you an exact day-to-day study plan, I have some general advice for you on how to move forward with your prep.

Regarding improving your GMAT skills, my biggest piece of advice is to ensure you are studying topically. In other words, be sure to focus on just ONE quant or verbal topic at a time and practice just that topic until you achieve mastery. If you can study that way, you will start seeing incremental improvement.

For example, let's say you are studying Number Properties. First, you'll need to learn all you can about that topic, and then practice only Number Property questions. After each problem set, thoroughly analyze your incorrect questions. For example, ask yourself why if you got a remainder question wrong. Did you make a careless mistake? Did you not properly apply the remainder formula? Was there a concept you did not understand in the question?

By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant and verbal topics.

For some more tips on the best way to structure your studying, here is a great article:

Good luck!
