To the best of my understanding, international gpas are not figured into the class profile however I don't think that means that they disregard them in terms of their holistic understanding of the candidate.

Adcom tends to put out there that they're experts in understanding grades from all different corners of the globe.

However I dont trust this, and have clients who come from relatively obscure universities pay WES.ORG to evaluate their transcripts and then upload that as an addl file. Jfd

Hello,

I’ve read somewhere online that B-school’s ug gpa stats were only for students coming from us based universities. Meaning that an international applicant with a low gpa wouldn’t negatively affect the school’s stats.

Can someone shed some light on this?
Thanks!

Just occurred to me that INSEAD, LBS most definitely would have to include all GPAS and get some type of apples to apples basis because everybody's international. I do think the INSEAD looks at grades with scrutiny because they don't want anyone failing, it's an extremely accelerated program.
