Hi all, I am happy to announce that the new version of Decision Tracker v2.0 is now LIVE! I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work as a Product Management Intern and develop this product over the past few months. Apart from understanding what a product manager does (something I wanted to learn to explore this path post-MBA), it was a wonderful learning experience working with
bb and the team behind GMAT Club. I appreciate what
bb does a lot more now after witnessing first-hand what he does to keep this fantastic platform running (without crashing
)!
Try out the
Decision Tracker v2.0 here -
https://gmatclub.com/forum/decision-tracker/index.htmlI'll dive right into what's new:
1. Real-time updates This section is the
FB/LinkedIn-ish version of the
Decision Tracker. You can learn everything from the test scores to GPA to nationality to the target schools of applicants.
Applicants can track their applications and update them in real time.
Additionally, potential applicants can create a post and request a
FREE profile review for ALL target schools from admissions consultants.
Both these, in one place.
Want to ask another applicant about their journey and learn more about their application strategy?
Use the comment section to connect! Along with all these features, you can use custom filters to research and analyze the types of profiles admitted to your dream schools to estimate your chances.
2. Summary by school Here, you can filter based on your target school and see the real-time application status of current applicants.
Love data and want to dig deeper? We have you covered.
You can add additional filters and sort the applicant data based on nationality, test scores, application year, and many other data points.
3. Similar profilesA feature for you to see similar profiles such as yours and where did they get in.
I believe v2.0 of the GMAT Club
Decision Tracker will be an invaluable tool for MBA applicants. I request you all explore the
Decision Tracker and share your thoughts.
Happy to receive feedback and suggestions on the same. Thank you!

FAQs1. Why use the decision tracker?MBA admissions are overwhelming. I have been there! We created this new version to take out some anxiety and guesswork from the application process. By using the
decision tracker, you can do multiple things - research schools, understand the application strategy of similar profiles in the past, get suggestions and feedback from admissions consultants with years of experience, and support from a community as the process can be quite intimidating at times and every bit of encouragement helps!
2. How do I request a free profile evaluation?Select this check box in the
registration form Once you hit submit, your post will be highlighted for a free profile evaluation.
3. After I hit submit, where will I see it? You will automatically see your post. To view other posts, click on the real time updates tab. The latest post will show at the top.
4. How do I find information on users and admitted profiles of a single school? You can find those in the ‘summary by school’ tab.
5. What is the ‘my schools’ section? It shows the list of schools you applied to or will be applying to. By clicking the add/update application status, you will be able to update the current status of your application. If you have not added any schools, click on ‘Create a post’.
6. What happens if I filter by the school or any other metric in ‘real time updates’?You will see the users who applied/will be applying to the school with information about other schools they have applied to. In addition, you will also find stats such as - work experience, nationality, score, GPA, pre and post-MBA industry, and the latest application status at all schools.
7. What happens if I filter by the school or any other metric in ‘summary by school’?You will find a list view of all the users that have applied to or will be applying to the selected school and their profile details. The details of the other schools they have applied to, a profile description, feedback from admissions consultants, and comments for other users will not be visible here. To view these, apply the same filter(s) on the ‘real time updates’ tab.
8. Can I stay anonymous when I post?Yes, the default name that we use is your username. If details of your name are not in the username, your identity is already hidden. Alternatively, you can pick a display name to stay anonymous.
9. Who should I contact if I have a suggestion/feedback/complaint?You can reply on this thread or drop a message to me.
Thanks!
