Hi All,
hr1212 bb MartyMurray im not sure if this question counts or is it a personal mental block im facing. seeking the views of the experts and the experienced.
is it a legit expectation to be able to "intuitively" follow every topic under quant ? or is it expected othrwise ? if so, how wud u suggest to navigate thru such topics during practice? Avg as an example : i do "intuitively" understand avg from different POVs ,to a certain extent, and hence can naturally "see" it at the time of reading questions (at times even when it may not explicitly be mentioned) , but i struggle w/ 1 particular pov : reverse engineering the given avg to its individual components tht make it - meaning : reading the question dsnt instantly show tht a structure of individual components + [present / missing weights ( depending on the question)] is present in the question. i need to slow down, use the "mechanical" structure of value and volume (proxy for weights) , see if they fit and then move forward. This versus, multiple avgs given, need to navigate to a final avg / derive multiple avgs to finally arrive at the wanted avg etc, i am comfortable with. Any thoughts?
