By the way, Apple will introduce new version of OS 3.0. It will be possible to add local store to the application. So, users can make their purchases of additional question sets in the application. We don't need free/paid application and it is possible to sell GMATClubs test one by one.

Question for beta-testers:

We have a lot of buttons at a question view. To avoid shrinking space for question text I show "add bookmark"/"Explanation" buttons only after answering the question. Nevertheless, it is not a great idea. What do you think, guys, if we get rid of tabs "Practice"/"Forum links"/"Info", add new line for buttons making them larger (at least wider) and add possibility to click "Forum links" and "Info" to main view of "Practice"?

P.S. Irajeevsingh, thank for idea to work with google spreadsheets.

I think this is a workable/acceptable solution as Forum Links and info are not that important of buttons, but if we add another button for "Results" or Summary, then it may be valuable to have it there. Perhaps we can have "Add Bookmark", "Explanation", "Discuss", and "More..."

The "More..." button could have the menu links that would not be visible otherwise. What do you think?

I can't wait to test this application out. After a long break from the GMAT prep, I need to get back into it.

Thanks

Guys,
I have successfully downloaded, installed and tested. Here are my first notes:

- answer choices: choice selection is made by pressing one of the A to E options. The way it is implemented dos NOT allow the user to CHANGE the answer. It would be more interesting to have radio buttons, which in fact are also used on the real GMAT user interface.

- MODE: it would be interesting to have a PRACTICE mode (free of time), in addition to a TEST mode (time restricted).

- red time counter: the time-counter-red feature is interesting, but only for those who wish to pace themselves. I would put it as a setting the user can configure, turning on or off depending on his / her specific interests.

- content: the application comes with a stadard quantitative set of exercises. It would be interesting to allow users to gather standard GMAT content, and have these content uploaded to the application in a simple form. By using open standards, you would allow the application to be a framework for GMAT tests, which can be assembled and loaded by anyone. Obviously, it will depend on your interest regarding making money out of the app.

- sets: although the custom set feature is REALLY interesting, I would also create the option for more than one set each containing the standard number of exercises. I could not understand how you'll structure this in the final app, since the beta version displays only one 37 quant. set, but it would definitely be interesting to have multiple separate sets.

That's it. Congratulations for the good work. I can't wait for the final app with additional tests and content.

Please keep my email among the testers, and send additional info.

Regards,

I know you are still working on this app, but has anyone thought about porting this SW for an Android app? There will be multiple companies offering Android products in the the near future.

I'll get a full write up in the next couple days.
