This happens ONLY when y is between 0 and 1...
So answer is NO and sufficient, but let us solve it
Now \(y>y^2\) means y>0.
\(y^2<y........y^2-y<0....y(y-1)<0\)
We know y>0, so y-1<0...y<1
Suff
(2) \(1 < y^2 + y < 2\)
If y>1, then y^2>1 and y+y^2>1+1 or y^2+y>2, so y<1
answer is NO and sufficient
