hi,
we can rewrite Is \(3 < \sqrt{x} < 5\)? as 9<x<25..
lets see the statements..
1) x<20..
if x=10, yes
if x=3, no..
insuff

2)x>5..
again insuff..

combined.. it gives the value of x between 5 and 20.. again insuff

1- INSUFF: Lets just give examples. If x is 8 then the answer is no, if x is 16 then the answer is yes. So both answers can be true.
2-INSUFF: Here I'll give examples again. If x is 6 then the answer is no, but if x is 16 then the answer is yes.
Both: INSUFF:
Here I'll give two examples again, if x is 8 then x is greater than 5 and less than 20 but the answer is no. If x is 16 then x is greater than 5 and less than 20 but the answer is no.
