I sat my GMAT today and managed to get 700 (Q48, V39). It is a significant improvement from my earlier score of 610 (V38, Q36) but do you think it's enough for top schools? My top school is Wharton and others include Booth, Columbia, Stern, and INSEAD.

The median GMAT score for a school necessitates half being below that score and half being above.
We don't know anything about you to judge if you're one of the ones accepted with a score in the lower half.

Hi Shazza,
First off, a 700/Q48 is an outstanding score (it's just a bit shy of the 90th percentile overall), so you can comfortably apply to any Schools that interest you. Since you're interested in some highly-competitive Programs, you have to make sure that you have a strong OVERALL profile AND you have to make sure that you properly 'market yourself' to each individual Program that you apply to. As such, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:
