Was wondering, is "as well as" splitting 2 clauses within a sentence a linking verb/signal that parallelism is in play? I have gotten mixed signals from OG questions. Does "as well as" function the same as "and", "or", etc.?
For instance, is "he likes cake as well as going to birthday parties".. would this be an parallelism error?
