I've seen this on some applications - just wanted to know what's the affect on your application by answering or choosing not to answer this question. Should I skip it?

Hi JAE18,

Business Schools know most people apply to several schools, and with that question they want to "sense" whether you will accept an offer from them or not. They also want to know which schools they are typically competing against.

You can either skip it, or answer it with other schools you're applying to that are "similar" or equally ranked. If you put down on the list that you're applying to a much higher ranked school, the AdCom most likely will think that you're using them as plan B.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Hey JAE18 ,

It is always preferable to list 2-3 schools of comparable rank or lower ranks. They know that most of the people will be applying to multiple schools, so its better to list them.

Not all and not any school which is of higher rank.

All the best :)
