Hey guys,
So... I have 40 days left to the D day... currently, my scores vary around 620-650 (Q36-39, V40-43). Originally, i wanted to score around 650, but now my appetite is growing and i would love to try to break the famous 700 barrier... Obviously, my math needs some work. I am going through the OG12 problems, keeping the
error log, therefore pinpointing my weaknesses (hate the XY coordinate problems

). Either way, i noticed that 9 times out of 10, i will mess up on probabilities and combinations, because i simply don't know the formulas. If i am not mistaken, this problem is to be encountered one to three times in GMAT, depending on how well one is doing. Since i obviously have quite a bit of work to do in other math areas, from the XY coordinate systems to number properties, i am wondering if learning probabilities and combinations is even worth the time? I have Veritas Prep Probablities and Combinatorics book, but it seems that it may take some time to go through it, while i still have more "common" topics to go over before the test.
Any opinions, advice, etc?
Thanks guys!
