We need to find if l || y axis. We nee dot find definite YES or NO

for any line l || y-axis ==> it is perpendicular to x-axis or x-coordinate will be same for all values of y.

Lets analyze the statements:

A: ℓ is x = 4. i.e x-coordinate will be 4 for all values of y. Yes SUFFICIENT
B: (4,2) and (4,–5) are on line ℓ. ==> x-coordinate will be 4 for all values of y. Yes SUFFICIENT

Both statements individually gave YES, D
