Hi, I am swati.
I have my exam on 30th of this month and i had booked this date two months back hoping that ill be able to study for it. but I am sitting on 1st may today and its only 28 days left for me now.
I wanted to ask:
1. is one month good enough to get a good score?(i am targeting 710). My mock score was 570. I am decent at maths, but bad at verbal. (its just that i am totally out of practice). Does a sprint format work for an exam like GMAT?
2. would it be wise to postpone the exam and then study for a three month period or so?
I have ample time to prepare, since I am at home right now.
3. I have GMAT OG and manhattan books with me, along with two official mocks. Do i need to buy anything else?
I am aiming for a second MBA in US. I am from a decent Bschool in India, so have cracked entrance before.
would be great if anyone could guide me.

Swati,
Reaching 710 from 570 in a months time is a difficult task. If you exactly know your weaknesses and know how to address them, and you are running against time (which doesn't seem to be the case), you go ahead with the earlier date. Otherwise, it would be wise to postpone the dates, but it also means, you do not find yourself in the same position after two months. Pace your prep such that you are through with overcoming/addressing your weaknesses in two months, and do take mocks once in a while.
