Hi,
I've narrowed down all the admits I have received to Syracuse (Whitman) University and Purdue (Krannert) University. While Purdue seems to be an obvious choice, I've got a 65% scholarship at Syracuse which is making my final decision really difficult. The fees at Purdue is quite high and I haven't been offered any form of scholarship or assistantship. While I also have an offer from Case Western Reserve with a 30% scholarship, it isn't well-known for Supply Chain Management as compared to Whitman or Krannert.
By choosing to go to Krannert, I will be giving up a substantial scholarship. The difference in expenses resulting from choosing Krannert over Whitman will be about $60,000. I would love to hear anyone's opinions on whether these extra expenses will be worth an MBA degree (Supply Chain Management concentration) from Purdue. The latest US News rankings show that Syracuse is struggling with placement. How are the internship/job placement opportunities at Krannnert (especially in the supply chain/operations field)? Is there anyone who can comment on this?
I am looking to enroll soon and any opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks!
