Hi,
Both stmt is required - C

1)Stmt 1 states that its paraellelogram. So, diagonal may be bisector only if its a Rhombus.
2)stmt 2 states that diagonal intesect at rt angle. It can be Rhombus or a Kite shaped.

Joining both will give you the answer

I have one query here.
look, if ABCD is parallelogram then diagonal bisect the area into two halfs.
So why D is wrong choice here?
