Hello All,

Can you please let me know whether TOEFL score of 97 is good enough for top 50 MBA colleges in US/canada.

my breakup in toefl was :
R 24- good
L 25- good
S 24 - fair
W 24- Good

should i retake it ?

Hi Amit,

Very few US schools require you to take a TOEFL. If you have completed you undergrad from a university where English was the mode of teaching, you are expected from taking TOEFL. So you might not have to take TOEFL at all.

If we talk about the score in isolation, it is a bit less.

I have 10+ years of experience with international workex as well in IT and the medium of instruction in my undergrad was in english.
I have got waivers at many colleges but not top 50 and some colleges in canada also asked for mandatory TOEFL score.

I am not sure which schools are you talking about, but many of our students have received waivers at top 50 schools.
The best way to know about a TOEFL requirement would be to go to the FAQ section of the schools and search for the questions related to TOEFL.

It's a good score but sometimes some schools require 100
