The idea is, it should actually be worthy enough an impact, or you narrate it in a very engaging way to keep the reader interested & convinced. It should then ideally link to the development of a certain strength that now leverages your professional competence. You can discuss its influence at a personal level as well. Your personality is equally important as a leader.
Here is how you can approach it. You need to tell what the experience was about. Give reasons on why it changed your belief or values. State your reaction to the experience and the influence it had on your personality. What future course of action you have taken to include these skills into your professional or personal life? Mention what you learnt from this experience and how it shaped you to grow as a professional and a person.
