ISBAK,

You need to be prepared to articulate responses for the following questions:
1. Why do you want to do a 2nd MBA?
2. GRE is on the lower side. Application needs to counter/compensate for this.
3. Rationale behind Career transition - B Tech - > Developer - > Analyst - > Product | Make sure that you craft a consistent storyline of progress of transferrable skills from each role that you used in the next one.
4. ECs need to align with how they will help you add value to the ISB P2P learning fabric.
5. With a varied career so far, your post-MBA goals need to be extra clear and well-reasoned. Why now, and how ISB fits into your long-term story, will be crucial.

Just be mindful about telling a coherent story — ISB loves applicants who know where they’re headed and can reflect on their journey meaningfully.
If you ever want to fine-tune your positioning or get feedback on your essays, CrackAdmission has worked with profiles like yours and could be a useful partner.
Let me know if you want to discuss school selection or your goals further!

Dear ISBAK,

Your profile seems like a well-rounded one with strong academics and awards to back your performance. Your GRE score of 326 is close to the average of successful admits at ISB, and your work experience across three companies adds good diversity to your profile. The inclusion of Toastmasters also reflects your initiative in working on your communication skills, which is always a positive sign.

You have already done an MBA integrated with your BTech, and now you are potentially pursuing a second MBA, so it would be important to clearly articulate your reasons for this decision in the admission essays. This is something schools like ISB will look to understand in depth.

We still do not have sufficient information about your short-term and long-term goals to give pinpointed feedback on how your profile aligns with them and how ISB can support that journey. But we would be eager to hear more and offer personalized guidance on how to best present your story.

At Team FLY, we are a collective of ISB alumni dedicated to supporting prospective MBA applicants with profile positioning, essay reviews and interview preparation. We also share application guidance regularly on our YouTube channel, and our latest video on navigating the ISB application essays can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZPE97krOHo
We are also offering, for the first time ever, a 50 percent value-back guarantee, keeping in mind our commitment to outcomes and our intent to make our offerings more applicant-centric.
