- We would view this as a strong and quite differentiated ISB profile, mainly because the Founder’s Office experience changes the story significantly. Scaling a YouTube channel from 100K to 900K subscribers, launching two viral content IPs, and building a clothing brand end-to-end demonstrate growth, entrepreneurship and execution. Your earlier progression through BYJU’S, business development and team leadership adds useful commercial grounding. ISB’s current PGP class includes candidates with 2 to 18 years of experience, so your experience level is certainly within range.
- One important correction is the work-experience calculation. From October 2019 to August 2026, your timeline is already close to seven calendar years, not simply 5+. More importantly, Skill-Lync and Auxo overlap from January to May 2023 even though both are listed as full-time. That will need a clean explanation in the application because unexplained overlapping employment can create unnecessary questions.
- Your application should not describe you primarily as a content professional. The stronger positioning is commercial operator who moved from sales and market expansion into the Founder’s Office, where you have built brands and growth initiatives from scratch. Quantify revenue, clothing-brand sales, budgets, team size, customer acquisition, profitability, partnerships and the commercial impact of the 900K-subscriber platform. Subscriber growth sounds impressive, but ISB will care more about what business value you created from it.
- The two missing pieces are academics and post-MBA goals. You have mentioned the BSc but not your undergraduate marks, so we cannot yet judge the academic side properly. More importantly, ISB will want to understand what comes after the Founder’s Office. Growth strategy, brand management, consumer-tech/media strategy, entrepreneurship or broader general management could all make sense, but the goal needs to explain why an MBA is necessary rather than simply continuing your current trajectory.
- For the current GMAT, we would aim for 655+ and preferably 675+ if achievable. ISB does not prescribe a minimum GMAT/GRE score and assesses candidates holistically. With a good test score, quantified Founder’s Office impact and a sharp career goal, we would consider this a genuinely competitive ISB application. The certifications and titles matter far less here than proving that you have already operated with meaningful ownership and can progress into substantially larger business leadership roles.
