Yaar I wanted to do a guesstimate about the interview invites. DEL/MUM/HYD/VIR/BGL karke 5 locations, har location pe 2 days. Assuming Alumni sit from 10-5 (I’m not sure, you can provide me with inputs) and an average interview can go from 20-40 minutes so iska aadha matlab 30 minutes, and suppose the interviewers take lunch 1 ghante ka matlab 6 hours ke interviews, assuming there is only 1 panel (idk Roz kitne panel hote hai, please provide me with numbers if you have a interview scheduled with a panel no. which is not 1) so 1 Panel maanke, 120 students and Assuming ek hotel me 3 panels tak chal rahe ho then YLP interview invites pan India ki range 120-360 students hui? Safer side me 150-400 applicants. Thoughts?

and har saal 150 YLP admits + hote toh panels must be more than 1 atleast

Nobody is picking up the call, tried a few times.
Did anyone get a chance to connect with adcom?

YLP applicants are babies, they’re not asking technical/guesstimates.

Hi guys.. I called the AdCom and spoke to them about this "reviewing your application" email some of us received. So what they said was that this email doesn't mean we are waitlisted/rejected. They said they're yet to review/process some of our applications and there are more interview slots.

Yes they said the same thing to me as well

I called them in the afternoon today so she said to wait and don’t assume anything on the own until the final results are out
And told me to not consider it as rejected

So just wanted to understand one thing- is there anyone who didn't get the mail stating that they would have to wait till December end?

Yes

Jitna samajh aya hai, their process is pretty random and bakwaas. They haven’t evaluated a lot of profiles yet. According to me they are going to take interviews gradually and prolly mark them individually. And then in the end select the top 150 or whatever. Last year also, people received their final result in Feb

This is weird
I thought they’re evaluating on a rolling basis so assumed they haven’t checked the applications that were submitted in the end.
It’s just so unorganised
