SRCC/St Stephens/IIT-B/D/K pedigree enough to make adcom salivate

uske baad aati hai DU/Non-Engineering/Females

inn sabke baad aate hai other log for consideration, yahi kathor sach hai for Jobs/placement and admission

you might have to struggle and build a cv and learn stuff to stand a chance lekin Tier 1+++ colleges ka toh birth right hai bhai

people who have given interviews today, can you please share your experience

Hi, I had my interview today (virtual). It was very laid back and conversational.

It started off with introductions, then delved into my extracurricular as they were a part of the first essay I wrote. There was some questioning with regards to Photography (as it was the activity I had talked about) and they asked why management and not photography as a career.

There were questions from my LOR as well. My LOR was written by my mentor for my final year project, so they asked me to talk about it and subsequently my inferences. They also asked if I had any suggestions.

They also asked personal questions, such as "talk about your childhood" (might have asked it because I started my 2nd essay with childhood aspirations, maybe not).

There were questions around my persuasion of Management, what qualities I have to be a part of the course. They also asked my plans after ISB, and after that, they asked me my immediate plans, leading up to my stint at ISB.

Then they asked me if there was something there in my profile/cv that had not been talked about yet or highlighted, and I asked if I could talk about something that was not there at all. They were more than happy to accommodate what I had to say. They asked me a couple of questions from the same.

The interview ended with them asking if I had any questions for them.

Overall, they were friendly and there was no pressure at all. The interview lasted for 30 minutes or so.

The interviews also started almost immediately, and everything was very streamlined.

Oh You’re definitely selected because 30 minutes is a good interview length, were there any oddball questions or was it pretty much standard? I didn’t understand the LOR part? Did they provide you access with what was written about you in the LOR?

P.S. Thankyou for this debrief

Haha, I wouldn't count on it. Interview length is probably not relevant to how the interview went. And I'd rather not keep hopes, only to be disappointed later.

Pretty much standard in my opinion, however questions in your interview will heavily depend on what you have expressed via your essays/overall profile.

They didn't provide me access, however the question they asked me was pertaining to my project. And my LOR was submitted by my mentor, so I understood why they asked me about it.

My pleasure!
