people who have given interviews today, can you please share your experience
Hi, I had my interview today (virtual). It was very laid back and conversational.
It started off with introductions, then delved into my extracurricular as they were a part of the first essay I wrote. There was some questioning with regards to Photography (as it was the activity I had talked about) and they asked why management and not photography as a career.
There were questions from my LOR as well. My LOR was written by my mentor for my final year project, so they asked me to talk about it and subsequently my inferences. They also asked if I had any suggestions.
They also asked personal questions, such as "talk about your childhood" (might have asked it because I started my 2nd essay with childhood aspirations, maybe not).
There were questions around my persuasion of Management, what qualities I have to be a part of the course. They also asked my plans after ISB, and after that, they asked me my immediate plans, leading up to my stint at ISB.
Then they asked me if there was something there in my profile/cv that had not been talked about yet or highlighted, and I asked if I could talk about something that was not there at all. They were more than happy to accommodate what I had to say. They asked me a couple of questions from the same.
The interview ended with them asking if I had any questions for them.
Overall, they were friendly and there was no pressure at all. The interview lasted for 30 minutes or so.
The interviews also started almost immediately, and everything was very streamlined.
