hi all,
i recently wrote my 2nd attempt of gmat and scored 670 q 49 v 31. AWA Score is yet to arrive.though most of us are never satisfied with our gmat score ever, we draw a line when we receive a adequate and competitive score.
i had scored 640 q 48 v 28 in my first attempt.i have improved upon my score but i really need a great score because i have got very low gpa (just passed).i never thought that i would need a good gpa during my training period at NDA, INDIA.but circumstances changed and i needed to give my carreer a second thought. i have a excellent military experience of 8+ as a officer.
i had prepared for 2+ month this time for gmat. i had covered quant from
mgmat guide, club test and i improved a lot from my initial score during the preparation.i am not satisfied with my verbal score.
i believe that one can give a good debrief of one's experience only when one is satisfied with his score/result.so i will wait till i get a great score.
i plan to start off my mba school in 2013. that means i have ample time to give gmat and prepare for applications.
with this back drop please advise me how to improve my verbal score. please assume that i will take exam again in jan 2012 and i can devote no more than 2.5 hours on weekday.and my weekends are busy with my daughter.
