Re: Job Search post MBA [#permalink]
Hi, The annual fee you pay for an Indian MBA is less than the one you pay for an MBA abroad. Studying abroad also includes other expenditure of accommodation and food and other personal expenses.  But the international exposure received from the degree abroad is well recognised globally. Speaking of ROI doing an MBA in a foreign country where the earning power is high will help you recover your money faster than recovering it in India. Provided that you do your MBA and get the subsequent placement from the top 25 colleges!

Ohh, so do you mean that a Bschool abroad will provide better job opportunities than the ones in India? Do Indian B schools also offer placements abroad?

No I am merely saying that your earning power will be more abroad because you will be earning in foreign currency and repaying your loans in Indian rupees. There are a few instances of companies giving the students placement opportunities in their foreign campuses. If you want to do your MBA from India and get placed abroad you could check the placement records. Similarly there are other colleges like S P Jain School of Global Management, XLRI, Institute of Management Technology who have international campuses. The advantage of studying in such colleges is that you may have the option of getting placed in India also. I hope it is clear enough now?
