2. Other than your Job and studies, what is it that you pursue passionately?
3. How do you handle conflict situations?
4. Why JMSB?
10 minutes 4 questions. Simple & straightforward.

These were the questions I had:

• What is unique about JMSB? 
• Tell us about a time you were part of a dysfunctional team. What was the situation? How did you respond? What were the learnings?
• Outside the work and education what contribution have you made to the community?

I completed my application on 22nd of May, including the interview, and am yet to hear back from the university.

As for the group, I don't think we have any rn but we can surely get one going.

Hi Umang

Sure, My profile is as below:
1) 10th and 12th: 90% CBSE Board
2) Bachelors: BTech in Chemical engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (Top 10 in India): 6.5 CGPA
3) GMAT: 700
4) Work Ex: 5 years in Strategy. Currently Program Manager at the top E-commerce company at Bangalore(India). 
5) Application timelines: Submitted application on May 25th. No interview. Got acceptance last night.

By interview I meant the KIRA one. Great to know Concordia has rolled out a few decisions though.

So what do you think, will you be joining JMSB?

Actually, my work experience is the most impressive part of my profile. 3 promotions and one on the way. Grads from top IIMs directly reporting to me, etc. However, I feel I wasn't able to highlight it well in my application.

I am waiting on Schulich. Rest of the Canada MBA Schools have applications starting from September only. Post-Schulich results, depending on Scholarship amount, will take a call.

Hi Umang,

Trust me it is not about NIT or IIT or any other top Eng. College. It is completely based upon your GMAT score, industry experience and reason for doing MBA/ SOP. If you can manage just these 3 and be confident, you will be through.

Definitely, I agree. But the weakest part of my application is my college degree only, so I get a bit iffy there. My work experience is really good and I believe I have highlighted it enough through my SOP along with the need for an MBA. Thank you for your guidance though much appreciated.
