I wouldn't. I would do a mock with your friend for FREE. Unless the paid consultant used to be on the Johnson Adcom, I see no advantage to paying money for something that takes about a half hour.

My status changed this morning - from submitted to "under review"

I was invited for an interview, but my status still says CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW.

The interview invite email asks to schedule the interview within 2 weeks. However I do not think this guideline is set in stone. As more invites are going to be sent out later this week and probably into next week, we could push the interview a little more than 2 weeks. However I would try to stay as close to the 2 week guideline as possible.

no new interview invites today? I am an applicant from India, but currently residing in US on work permit. The status on my application shows 'Under Review'. I am not sure how my application will be categorized though. Recently I read an interview article posted on P&Q in which Christina mentioned they split applicants by geography. What happens to candidates like me? Not sure if they also categorize us by gender. Any female R2 applicants with interview invites recently?
