I agree with the judgement - Cornell is Ivy League and I would say would count higher in my mind, though ranking-wise, very close to McCombs (16 vs. 17) though in terms of starting salary and employment data that US News has, they are identical.

I would visit at least these 2 schools and get a vibe at the admitted students weekend (or even come earlier and spend a day or two in Austin and Ithaca area). There is a LOT of difference between the 2 and even though you may not care now, the lifestyle and options available to you in Austin (technology, culture, and heat center of Texas) vs. Ithaca will be different.

Thanks for the feedback bb! Do you have any thoughts on Tepper v. Johnson? I'm torn because I already did my undergrad at Cornell and I am wondering if having a second alumni network would help?
