Hello, the LSAT passages available on this forum -- are they inherently tougher (as they are designed for a diff exam) than the same level of the ones available in GMAT FE? Currently I am struggling more to deal with LSAT passages than OG/GMAT Prep passages..
LSAT passages are more difficult than the GMAT ones on average. You should not attempt the LSAT questions unless you’re feeling very comfortable with GMAT ones.... Not sure where are you are in your reading comp journey, but There’s a misconception that one can be really smart and immediately start practicing hard questions and therefore will master medium and easy ones at the same time, that is not correct actually. There is value in doing medium and easy questions and only then moving to the hard ones.

Just a follow-up question for those who are targeting the 695 score. Is it recommended to practice RC and CR ques from the LSAT forum?

Focus on what you can solve first. Don’t worry about what you can’t do. Focus on your strengths. You’ll do well. And most importantly breathe and take time to understand. Remember this is not the world’s end.

For RC, for me, I was able to improve from about 50% to about 80%+ In a matter of 30 minutes.

In my experience, the reason for poor performance on reading comprehension is deviating from a recommended strategy. People do all kinds of random things. In my experience, the best way to get reading comprehension handled is follow a strategy that’s outlined in the Manhattan books or the Powerscore books or the Kaplan books.

It’s a fairly straightforward strategy that does not take a genius but you must follow every single step of it. If you deviate, it does not work and it falls apart.

Thanks @bb and @TheVDR actually I don’t have any strategy, I just skim through the passage make a Roadmap of paras and try to answer the questions as I don’t want to breach 25 mins. Mark for RC.

Thanks again for your valuable inputs. I will try to find any strategy on gmat club.

I think MGMAT may have a slight edge. It doesn’t really matter. Pick the most available and accessible book and follow it exactly. If it’s hard, that’s not an excuse not to follow the strategy. Don’t try to be smart either just follow it 😇

Yes... It’s a solid product. I’m hoping you’re a little bit further along 20 days out but everyone has to improvise I guess. The quant and verbal books are designed for a 2-3 month time span. Covering them all in 20 days is going to be really toughened probably not very productive.
