hello everyone
i just gave my gmat and got an awful result verbal:24
quant: 37
im quite dejected.. i am very scared of work rate time.. n speed time distance, and the first question on my gmat was work rate.. i got soo horrified tht i messed it all up..
i was ssoooo damn nervous..
and i reallyy want a score of 700 in the second attempt..
in the prep tests i gave i always scored sum where between 40 and 45 in quant.. n verbal was always horrible never above 30
i usually make silly mistakes in maths because of which my score doesn go up.. but verbal.. i just dont know what to do??
i need help!!! what can i do to improve verbal..?? and reduce silly errors in quant?

sorry to hear that. Some tips:
error logs - seems you know your weak areas in quant - now you need to figure out the prob with V
devote time to verbal - a 20/80 time split is good.
Use MGMAT books and powerscore CR if you havent done so.
if you never scored over 30 in V it is pretty much a given you wont get a 700+ test day since you need probably at least a 35V to have any chance really...
Keep up the spirit and study hard!
